All kidding aside, Roy DIblik (see post below) also shared his experience with the Dutch push hoe during his MetroHort presentation. He claims this simple tool sped up his crew's weeding considerably. Looking at his slides, I was impressed with the long handle that allowed the user to stand upright, but wasn't quite sure how it differed from a scuffle hoe. So I searched the internet and found this interesting page describing a wealth of hoes and their uses.
If you think any old hoe will do, you're evidently wrong.
